Through the early days of the company's history, the skill sets were being developed by the principles and employees for what later was a natural progression in custom fabricating for local food processors. The company's location in the southernmost area in Canada is home to the country's largest concentration of tomato, fruit and vegetables, and fresh fish producers. The presences of both small and multi-national food processors and their constant need for specialized machinery has been the company's main stay for almost 20 years. Known for technical competence and quality workmanship in this specialized metal working field, as well as, a reputation for fair dealing, the company has since served clientele in a variety of industries. In 2008 Tugweld has taken on another unique project on by designing, engineering and building a race track drying and cleaning prototype that dries race tracks in 1/3rd the time it takes them today. |
