Client - A major multinational processor and
packager of frozen vegetables.
Location - Central Ontario, Canada.
Objective - Client wanted to accurately blend products to an
appropriate mix for frozen pack and/or soup line.
Products - Frozen cauliflower, green and yellow beans,
carrots, broccoli, spinach and onions.
Engineering - Clients indicated the process used and the
space available - TWM team totally engineered, custom built and installed the entire
system.
Delivery Time - 90 Days from inception to completion.
Details - The system consisted of a four station, turn-key
set-up with hydraulically operated tote dumpers, 56 cubic feet accumulation hoppers,
electric motor driven cluster busters, electronically driven metering units and all
fabrication in SST 304 stainless steel material. System was designed to handle up to
10,000 lbs. of product per hour, per station. Components used included SST
"JOKI" motorized drum pulleys on conveyors. SM CYCLO
gear boxes and motors
on cluster busters. Sealmaster bearings, Ralphs Pugh trough rollers and custom
designed metering vanes for specific products.
