Tug Weld Manufacturing Ltd. or "TWM" was established in 1982 for the purpose of manufacturing and repairing marine vessels and equipment on the Great Lakes.

...hence the origin of the company's name.

Through the early days of the company's history, the skill sets were being developed by the principles and employees for what later was a natural progression in custom fabricating for local food processors.  The company's location in the southernmost area in Canada is home to the country's largest concentration of tomato, fruit and vegetables, and fresh fish producers.  The presences of both small and multi-national food processors and their constant need for specialized machinery has been the company's main stay for almost 20 years.  Known for technical competence and quality workmanship in this specialized metal working field, as well as, a reputation for fair dealing, the company has since served clientele in a variety of industries.
